A new bus route utilising an electric powered bus has launched on the streets of the Thai capital of Bangkok. A project managed by the development team at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) saw the route linking its campus to the city’s Lat Krabang Airport Link Station carry its first passengers this week.

The Thai government recently approved the upgrade of the railway line linking the cities of Khon Kaen and Nakhon Ratchasima. The 187km-long line linking the two locations is currently only single track. The upgrade will see the line turned into a dual-track one.
