Koh Tao to Bangkok Destination Reviews

MB
Mia B
Ferry ride is fast and comfortable with different seating options inside or outside. There is a kiosk. Remember sun screen if you choose to seat on the sun deck. The bus was a modern double decker with good seats and suspension, making it quite a comfortable ride. There is a break at the main land pier between ferry arrival and bus departure, but just a few food and drink options so the queue can be long. The bus stops after around 3 hours at a rest stop with many different food alternatives and good restroom capacity. For me, this bus ride was just a little too long (almost 8 hours), but the bus was as comfortable as a regular bus can be.

I would highly recommend the service from Koh Tao to Bangkok. The ferry was delayed but the bus driver made up for the time and actually arrived 10mins early to Bangkok. There was food, water & coffee included with an A/C Bus that had wide reclining massage seats. There was also Free WiFi which meant that you could watch movies while on the journey so it went by very quickly. It’s worth the money

Finish the trip 2 hours later and there was no traffic in Bangkok, donde know why they put 10 hours of its for sure, at least, 12 hours.

Boat was comfortable but the coach wasn’t. It’s arrived in Bangkok 1hr 15 mins later than it should have. The ferry left on time from Koh Tao so I have no idea why the supposed journey took that much longer. Only explanation I can think of is the operator lied about the total time to encourage more people to use their service. Other than it being late had no other problems.
