Aldric MThe journey went very well.
We left on time and arrived on time, within about 10 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.
Everything was very well signposted during the transfer between the boat and the bus.
During the bus check-in, they make sure to seat you next to the people you are travelling with.
This time, there were no surprises, and we got the correct boat and the correct bus, both of which were clearly indicated on the voucher/website when booking.

Rayne CBoat transfer from Koh Tao to Chumphon was fine. Well organised. Need to get to the pier at Koh Tao at least an hour before as high number of people checking in so gets very busy. Transfer at Chumphon to get the coach to Bangkok very well organised. seats were allocated at check in. Coach seats were comfortable. Water bottle given. 3 hour drive, 30 min rest stop then 5 hour drive. Arrived at Bangkok at 9pm (30 mins later than advertised) - we were happy with this because boat left Koh Tao 45 mins later than scheduled due to low tide. So we happy that time was made up. 4 stars out of 5 given because toilets on coach was very smelly. Overall we were happy and would book again.

Mandy WIt was ok on the boat although the weather was horrible and people were sick all around. The staff were friendly and accomodatinh.
However, The busdriver had an alarm going off during most of the trip. The first 3 Bouts every few minutes in irregular intervals and after the break less offen. It drive me up the wall.

Andreas SCommunication was bad also it didn't state clearly on the ticket that it was mainly a bus journey. Only around an hour on the boat and then the rest of the day on the bus. We also arrived 2 hours late without notice at any point during the trip.

Mia BFerry ride is fast and comfortable with different seating options inside or outside. There is a kiosk. Remember sun screen if you choose to seat on the sun deck. The bus was a modern double decker with good seats and suspension, making it quite a comfortable ride.
There is a break at the main land pier between ferry arrival and bus departure, but just a few food and drink options so the queue can be long. The bus stops after around 3 hours at a rest stop with many different food alternatives and good restroom capacity.
For me, this bus ride was just a little too long (almost 8 hours), but the bus was as comfortable as a regular bus can be.
