Not as bad as people describe it. Bus was in ok condition, seats were very spacious and comfortable. Temperature was perfect. It got us there. However, with many drawbacks:
- No information regarding when a food/water/toiletbreak would occur.
- Only stopped once at a shady restaurant with an overwhelming amount of bad reviews. People were claiming that they cooked with dog meat to save money. Here it is on maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/avok3C8LnGY6ZZPk8
- Toilet was in a bad state. No toilet paper. No soap. No running water.
- No usb or charging outlet.
- Driver drove aggressively. Overtook everything in his way even though it was very risky. We had many close calls with other cars/buses/trucks. But this might be the case with traffic in general in Vietnam.
Verdict:
It's been better than most of our experiences in Laos/Cambodia. The bus was on time, and we got there in time. Come prepared to the bus with food, water and toilet paper.
The company wasn’t Green Trips but the bus was always Queen Cafe Open Bus.
Bus from Hoi An to Phong Nha, departure at 1.30pm on the Limousine bus, after 3 hours it stops in Hue, they let us off and put us on a normal sleeper bus... even tho I paid for the limousine. We arrive at 10pm.
Overall disappointed, also the first part on the limousine wasn’t that great, the seat was uncomfortable and it was full of ants.

bag got soaked underneath the bus. also had to change busses randomly onto a new one, where they oversold the seats so people had to sleep in the aisles. the new bus was also very short, aka anyone over 5’6 would have to bend their legs. ALSO the driver was rude, dismissing people asking simple questions like when our bathroom break would be.

We paid for thé vip bus and we got thé normal bus . We dont understand because when we arrive at the final destination thé vip bus arrive at the same Time .
