We didn't have a ticket, only a WhatsApp message on where to go. At the pier, no one knew which one was our boat. We managed to call the company through the WhatsApp message we got and passed the phone to someone on the pier who sent us to a boat to Ao Nang, but to the wrong pier. In addition to this confusion, the boat wasn't on time and didn't end at the pier we booked, so we had to pay for a scheduled taxi we couldn't use because we weren't there, and then pay for another taxi from the pier we were dropped off at.

Took the speed boat from Phi Phi to Ao Nong. Good communication from check in (despite busy environment) left on time. Also they handed out bottles of water on boatd which I thought was such a nice touch!
