Was a little skeptical about traveling by van in the beginning, since most backpackers take the train, but this was a good experience. I sat comfortably throughout the whole trip. We even made a stop to buy some refreshments along the way. I also connected with some of the locals. All though I recommend this, I want to mention that the journey was a little hot. Each of the seats had an av outlet, and that did cool me down but not enough to be 100% comfortable.
