Bangkok to Koh Samet Destination Reviews

Gets you to where you need to be, even stops for toilet break. The only problem I had was they charged me for my bag. Upon booking my trip, I was aware that I could only bring 1 "big luggage" up to 20kg - and that's what I did. However, the driver assumed my bag weighed more. He did not even double check the weigh with a scale - he simply assumed! He called the ticket lady over and she asked me for 100THB. Simply ridiculous. The rest of the ride was nothing special, but quick and and cheap enough.

The bus was over an hour late and without any prior notification or follow-up explanation. It's just not acceptable to treat customers that way.

I think they booked too many people for our bus so they put us in the next one which one 1 hour after our initial departure time... without telling us!

No one speaks English and no one explains anything about where to find the bus, how to check in for the ferry, the ferry left 20 minutes late, with no comments or explanation of any kind. Really lame.
