Radek PShip was o.k. but second part was worst. We waited 50min for bus. Our family couldn't sit together. Delay to BKK 1hr. I would recommend the van = shorter time and more comfortable than bus.

Georgina I took the early 6am bus from Kaohsan Road to Koh Kut. There were only a handful of us and the bus was very good (clean, large, modern), and I prsonally loved the big windows to watch the country side. One stop where this is food and bathrooms. Then we got the ferry point and it is stunning! Lunch was provided (small fried rice). Then taken to koh Kut via speed boat which was also very nice (so far the nicest that I've been on). Once landed, you get put on a vehicle and you guys need to know what hotel/hostel you're staying at and they would deliver you there! Excellent!
