There are too many stops along the way and it got delayed by almost 2 hours. There was no proper announcement from the driver which stop can we have lunch as this journey took 9 hours from 9 am.
I’m a fan of using the trains, but because the only seats left were bloody hard seat 6, I knew better. So, I am extremely grateful that 12go.Asia made it possible for me to buy a seat on the bus at a very last moment. The extremely clean bus was a luxury, and the driver was very aware of his passengers, stopping on a regular basis for toileting. Definitely, you have my coveted “iWheel of Approval!”
My ticket said I would arrive on 6 hours. The trip took 11 hours. No food stop for over 8 hours. No toilet break for 6 hours.
Driving good. Bus comfortable.
The bus itself was okay, just the communication was so bad. Suddenly we had to go out in Kuala Lumpur en had to wait for 45 min. And arrived 3,5 hours later than plannend?!
I cannot recommend using this company. The bus ride was supposed to take about 7 hours from Penang to Malakka, but it ended up taking almost 12 hours. There was no bad traffic and no apparent reason why it took so much longer. We were first picked up from the station with a shuttle and then had to transfer to a bus at another location. It was very unorganised. Both the shuttle and the bus were very old and dirty. The bus did have a lot of legroom and USB charging ports though.
