Ich habe ein Nachtbus (Sleeper) von Vientiane nach Pakse gebucht. Der Bus kam etwas zu spät. Erreichte Pakse aber pünktlich. Abenteuerliche aber entspannte Nachtfahrt.
Would not recommend this trip. The journey took 5 hours longer than suggested, we arrived at 12pm instead of 7am. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Bus broke down on the side of the road at 2am for at least an hour. Very dirty
14 hour journey took 20 hours! No mechanical issues or traffic instead stopping every 1-2 hours for cigarette and toilet breaks. Solo female traveller dropped off at 3am on the side of the road in pakse and told to get out instead of the bus station. Before getting on bus was told i had to pay extra 50,000 lak to get on. No explanation to why. Pay the extra £20 to fly. Wish i did

Never expected such a smooth ride from Vientiane down to Pakse. Shared to bed with my friend, was very comfortable and slept the whole way through. Bus drove at normal speed and was on time.
The bus left on time and arrived on time so no complaints. The beds are clean enough and blankets, pillow and water are provided. One thing to note - you do share a bed, so if you are booking only 1 ticket you will share with a stranger. We booked 2 tickets as we are a couple. We are 5 ft 7 and 5 ft 9, regular build and it was very cosy width ways and definitely not long enough (the beds are obviously designed for a petite person). It is bearable for 1 night but I wouldn't expect to sleep much. Also, with the the road from Vientiane to Pakse being the main road running through the country, you would expect it to be semi decent but it was very bumpy.
Well how to say that the company that we were suppose to take wasn’t even there so after a stressful hour not knowing if wr would get on a bus we were transfered to another one which was half of the price we paid for..
The road is bumpy. Can't use toilet on the bus. Don't take this, book a flight. The only good thing was the bus was on time.

It was ok and on time but just for you to know, the bed is not that long, I'm 181cm and it bend a bit the knees. Also, there was no food and stops during the trip. There was small bottes of water.

We'd heard horror stories about the sleeper bus, so we're expecting the worst, but in fact it was pretty good. The bus has two decks, an upper and a lower. Each deck has bunks down each side of the isle. Each bunk is low to the floor with a thin mattress about the size of a standard single bed, but they are sold for two people to a bunk, so you will have to get cosy with whoever you're sharing with.
It was, fairly comfortable and we did manage to sleep , so much so that I woke up to find the bus almost empty as most of the passengers had already got off.
The only issue was the inconsiderate passenger on the bunk opposite ours, who thought it OK to play annoying reels on her phone with the volume turned up at 03:20 in the morning.

Bus left 20 minutes late. They did not stop anywhere for a toilet break. There was a toilet on the bus but it was not in a condition to use.
Arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes early.
Seats where very small and bus was really old and dirthy.
