Bad things : we were suppose to wait from 5 am to 9 am for our bus connection …..
Good things :
The bus is really nice… seats are large and very confortable.
The bus staff is really nice as well
When we had to change buses, the staff there were also very very nice. And even found us a second bus early
Apparently there was a difference between a normal and VIP ticket (but no option to book vip on 12Go.
First floor was for no vip where you just sat on a couch. No place to put your legs up cuz the couch was shared with 3 people on each side. For a few hours would be completely okay, but for the 12h it was way too uncomfortable.
Positive point that they gave us a blanket, staff was friendly.
All in all the tour was very well organised and exactly like it was planned. The bus for the long drive from Bangkok to Surat Thani (10 hours) was very comfortable. You get a blanket, water and snack. For the price definitly worth it. Sometimes it seems chaotic and you don't really know what is happening next, but that's maybe the thai way of doing things. If anything the people from the bus company were not friendly at all. Sometimes you felt like a sheep being moved from one place to another. Other than that worth it, especially because of the price.
Good bus! I’m 5‘11 and comfortably fit. Seat fully reclines and you have foot rest! Gets cold at night as AC blasting but they give you blankets and pillow( bring hoodie if worried about the cold). Our operator was also lovely and catering! Don’t forget you get a FREE meal - operator dose make this very clear
The bus was super comfortable. The seats reclined to sleep and had lots of space. They also give you pillow and blankets and snacks and water. Your ticket also includes a meal to a comedor where you stop on the road. They dropped us of in Surat Thani where you wait for another bus for 2hrs to get to the entrance of Khao Sok Village. From there you Walk or get another shuttle to the place you stay.
The stopover in Surath Thani was bad. They nearly forgot us and was struggling to find solutions. In the end everything went good, but I could be better planed.
You should name the stopover in the ticket and on the website before. This prevent misunderstandings and help to plan better.
