Zeer gemiddeld vip betaald maar voor surat thani uitgeworpen alle 3 de bussen vertrokken uit Bangkok in een sorteergebied voor verschillende bestemmingen meer dan 1u30 wachten dan van rotten voor zogenaamde lanta die vertrokken zonder 3 koffers achtergelaten op de stoep we moesten stoppen ........ aangekomen bij krabis weer in het midden van niets verandering van busje met verplichting om 200 bath per persoon te betalen om ons naar het hotel duidelijk niet interessant voor degenen die dicht bij deze stad ....

Très moyenne vip payée mais avant surat thani éjecté tous des 3 bus partis de Bangkok dans une zone de triage pour différentes destinations attente plus de 1h30 puis van pourri pour sois disant lanta qui partait sans 3 valise laissé sur le trottoir nous avons du le faire arrêter........ arrivés à krabis de nouveau au milieu de rien changement de van avec obligation de payé 200 baths par personne pour nous emmener à l hôtel évidemment pas intéressant pour ceux qui so t près du ce tre ville ....

De rit was eigenlijk 21 uur lang, omdat ze voor het laatste stuk samenwerken met een ander bedrijf en ze niet op je wachten als je bus te laat is.

Ik heb veel busreizen gemaakt door Thailand en ze waren allemaal erg goed, en ik accepteer ook dat door Covid bepaalde routes en tijden zijn veranderd door gebrek aan vraag, maar wat niet echt acceptabel is, is dat een busreis die ongeveer 15 uur zou moeten duren (nog steeds langer dan vroeger BTW), nu meer dan 20 uur duurt, en blijkbaar is dit de tijd die het nu duurt, om de een of andere reden is de vermelding niet bijgewerkt, noch toont het enige aansluitingen (ik moest er 4 nemen om op mijn bestemming te komen, er was ook GEEN water of snack voorzien in de bus, dit is de norm voor lange afstand bussen, ze geven meestal een kleine fles water en een koekje of cake, we hadden 1 x 30 minuten stop rond 6 uur in waar we konden eten / badkamer stop enz, de eerste overstap was ongeveer 11 uur, maar er was nergens een plek om iets te eten te kopen, geen probleem, maar we hebben ongeveer 45 minuten rondgehangen voordat we naar de volgende halte werden gereden en daar werden afgezet, we konden iets kopen in de supermarkt, maar moesten toen 2 uur wachten op een aansluiting naar een ander busstation, daar nog een uur wachten voordat we weer een bus konden nemen, vervolgens afgezet worden bij de haven of nog eens 200 Baht betalen om 3km met de bus naar mijn hotel gereden te worden, ik heb deze route in het verleden gedaan en het is nog nooit zo lang of verwarrend geweest, ik werd halverwege de andere kant van het land gereden voordat ik er weer overheen werd gereden, iedereen die een Bangkok naar Koh Lanta bus neemt, DOE HET NIET! in plaats daarvan neem een Bangkok naar Krabi Bus station (11 uur gemiddeld afhankelijk van de maatschappij) en koop dan een Krabi naar Koh Lanta bus (2 uur) het zal waarschijnlijk 6-12 uur in transfers en wachttijden besparen op de huidige reistijden, ik zal blijven bussen omdat ik weet dat niet alle maatschappijen op dit niveau opereren, maar gewoon een eerlijke waarschuwing voor anderen, Montanatip waarschijnlijk het beste om weg te blijven tenzij de route direct is (waarschijnlijk het beste om ook te controleren)

I have taken many bus trips across Thailand and they have all been very good, and I also accept that due to Covid select routes and or times have changed due to lack of demand, but what is not really acceptable is that a bus trip that should take and is advertised at around 15 hours(still longer then it used to BTW), now takes more then 20, and apparently this is the time it takes now, for some reason the listing has not been updated, nor does it show any connections (I had to take 4 to get to my destination, There was also NO water or snack provided on the Bus, this is the norm for long distance coaches, they usually provide a small bottle water and a little biscuit or cake, we had 1 x 30 minute stop around 6 hours in where we could eat/bathroom stop etc, the first change over was around 11 hours but there was nowhere to buy something to eat, no big deal but we hung around for about 45 minutes before being driven to the next stop and then dropped off, was able to buy something at the supermarket, but then had to wait 2hours for a connection to another bus station, wait there for another hour before ANOTHER bus connection, then get dropped off at the port or pay another 200Baht to be driven 3km by the bus to my hotel, I have done this route in the past, and it has NEVER been so long or confusing, I was driven half way down the opposite side of the country before being driven BACK across it, anyone taking a Bangkok to Koh Lanta Bus, DO NOT DO IT!!! instead get a Bangkok to Krabi Bus station (11hrs average depending on the company) and then buy a Krabi to Koh Lanta bus (2Hrs) it will probably save 6-12 hours in transfers and wait times at the current travel times, I will keep bussing it because I know that not all companies are operating at this level, but just fair warning to others, Montanatip probably best to stay away from unless the route is Direct (Probably best to check as well)

They should have mentioned the bus is only for a few hours. You stop at midnight to eat and at 5am you change to two different minivans and then you take a ferry. 200 bath extra to get dropped off at your hotel.
