Too many hours to go in a ti y motorboat. Too many people crammed together, we were packed in very tightly, and it was incredibly hot, the seats were super uncomfortable, there was no room for our backpacks, and it was so noisy. It would have been acceptable on a shorter trip, but four hours like that is insane.

The customer service at the airport was not great; not friendly or helpful or informative. No one was able to tell us where to go or what bus to go on. Service was extremely late. We were never told we had to transfer to another boat, adding more of a delay. We would expect a discount or refund for the poor service we received.

Strange transfer. First the bus was ok. The ferry suddenly stopped and we needed to switch to another boat. So we arrived 2h later.

My trip from Surat Thank airport to Koh Tao was good. The bus left on time from the airport and drove about 1.5h to the ferry. There we had to wait another hour until we could go on the ferry. It took about 3h from the mainland to Koh Tao.

The ticket doesn’t say anything about that the ferry is going to koh samui also- the trip was longer then it supposed to be (an hour late). We had to get down in koh pangan and exchange ferry and we waited an half hour in the heat without even a place to buy water. It was long and uninformed about the legit route of the ferry. We are very disappointed of the travel we you.

Speed boat is for the people who can handle big waves for a long time, I didn’t know I had travel sickness until I got into that boat for 4h from surat Thani to koh tao, a bad part was also a strong smell of gasoline at the boat
