Overall good. The queue for the bus was wild at 8am so get there mega early, although they are very helpful and will accommodate you if you are waiting a while. The bus was pretty run down and old but perfectly fine and ideal for the price. It took around 4.5 hours to get to the pier with a 30 min stop about 2 hours in. Ferry was great, comfy and air conditioned, this took around 1.5-2 hours. Overall super cheap great value

Although the operator was a bit later than told, they stopped off a few times for us, the driver was good and the van was comfortable despite it being a long journey.

the bus waited for people who have booked but arrived late, still made perfectly it in time for the ferry On the bus part there were several breaks along the trip as there was no toilet on board, so it was also great to go for tiny walks For the ferry the journey was the quickest, a lot of comfortable seats inside and the sun deck is available for anyone who needs some air

I would rather have a little bit slower, and therefore safer ride, then going in 120 km/hour. But thats maybe just me. Traffic accidents are high in Thailand and accidents usually accure because of speed. Also some confusion at the first pier, was we that heading for Samui supposed to get of at the first stop or not. Could be very east to be told in advance that people that goes to Samui goes of at the second stop. Also toilet break would be easy to say "20 min stop toilet" or have a sig say. Toiletbreak, back here at 12:30 or something.

Bus was good and on time although one bus was broke down so replacement vans were used for some people. The ferry felt over crowded and unsafe with people sitting on plastic chairs. Lights going out when waves were crashing. No life vests under chairs as described on signs
