the speed boat trip from Phuket was fine. it was on time, there were plenty of seats on the boat and the sailing was great. the only thing that didn't work was the fact that I had purchased a ticket that included transportation from the hotel to the port. But until midnight no one let me know what time they would come to pick me up. I got calls and messages when I woke up. so I took a Bolt and went to the port independently. next time I will buy a ticket only for the boat trip.
