Very cheap local bus service from Nong Khai to Udon Thani. The driver was not friendly and complained about my luggage and told me to speak Thai. He also used his phone while driving and undid his seat belt on route.

Were told to be there an hour ahead of time. Waiting, waiting with no one around. Asked the office lady why the one hour ahead of time, she said she didn’t know. Could have saved some time getting there 20 mins early and would have been fine. Also, did not know that we had to stop at multiple locations picking up and dropping off other people on the way there. Good thing I had plenty of time before my flight.

12go Asia has way to overpriced tickets. I paid around 260 Thai Baht for the trip from Nong Khai to Udon Thani. I booked the trip back at the local bus station. The price was only 60 Thai Baht. I’m fine if the minimum 200 Thai Baht went to the bus provider. But I believe that most or more than half of the ticket price went to 12go Asia. On the positive side. 12go Asia is a great online ticket provider when you have to rely on time.
