Terrible busride, we went to Chumpung the airco was so cold my daughter and I where freezing, we asked for more blankets but there where non. It was 16 degrees inside?? So we both could not sleep. They also forgot to mention where we had to get out so when we stopped it was the end and we should have gone out 2 hours before. At 4 in the morning we where in the middel of nowhere. Luckly the super nice stewardess who gave us cookies and water called someone wgo brought us to another busstop. We had to wait untill 07.30 to go back to the place we should go out before. Pain in my neck (its build for small Thai not big Dutch woman) shoulders and butt, the chairs are poor we arived at 09.30 at our point of destanation instead of 05.00. We where happy with the stewardess, but be aware no one speaks English. I would not do it again ever

the trip went very smoothly and the beds were comfortable and clean. i had a pretty good sleep on the train. the only thing was that we arrived about an hour ahead of schedule and there was only a 5 minute warning ahead of our stop. thankfully, my partner didn’t sleep on the train and was keeping track on his phone. if we’d both been sleeping, it would have been extremely stressful to wake up, gather all our belongings and get off the train in that short time. i had set an alarm to wake me up 50 minutes before we were supposed to arrive at our stop, but it actually went off after we were already on the platform

The train was on time but the sits weren’t so comfortable for a travel of 7’5h was difficult for two regular people to seat next to eachother fitting both asses on the sit. And some times was smelling like pee or poo. For the general view the trip is not that bad if you want a full experience from thailand, and for what I read our train was on time so I can’t complain about that.

The train was on time and there is a lot of people getting on and off to sell stuff for dinner inside the train. The only problem is that the arrival time was at 2:15 a.m. and we had to wait at the station until 6 a.m. for the bus to pick us up.
