Van was late to appear, it wasn’t clear which one was for us so we were worried we’d missed it. However, WhatsApp chat the helpline and they were very useful.

We arrived at the dock at 8:30 for our departure at 9. The driver was about 25 mins late. We had called to know that he would be late but was coming. However we then drove back past our hotel (that we had to take a grab from to get to the dock) to pick up someone at their hotel. I’m not sure how they were able to ask for that. We also waited for over 30 mins at that hotel for one person to come out. We then went back to the original dock at 10:30 and picked up the rest of the people. It was just disappointing that we could have slept in much more since we spent 2 hours just waiting and driving around to collect others. However, we successfully arrived and got on the 2 pm ferry. So ultimately, the trip was fine.

Was alright. Communication not great. Didn’t realise I was having to swap from a van to a bus at one point. Also the drivers had little knowledge of where we actually were going. Got dropped at the wrong pier and had to buy a new ferry ticket in the end. Also the first driver in the van was pretty crazy, drove erratically and sped a lot. Would be nice to be more in the loop with what going on. But then again you have to expect this stuff in Thailand sometimes
