They were great. Super smooth travel. They picked me out straight away from the crowd coming from Koh Phangan arriving to Surat Thani (Didn't need to think of which way do I need to go). Taken by bus and then a small mini bus. They took great care of me from the beginning to the end. And the man was so lovely at the bus change recommend

We had trip included (ferry - bus - van) everything was okay before we came to “bus” it was a minivan fully loaded with people with very bad AC. Trip in “bus” was about 2,5 hours but in those conditions it felt like 5.

The arrival was extremely chaotic, with everything appearing disorganized and lacking any clear structure. In contrast, the ferry ride itself was calm and relaxing, offering a brief moment of comfort before the next stage of the journey. The subsequent bus ride, however, was a complete nightmare. The bus driver operated the vehicle as if he were participating in a race. Overtaking on both the left and right sides seemed to be his standard driving style. He maintained no safe distance from the vehicles ahead, repeatedly tailgating trucks so closely that the gap felt like no more than half a meter. This occurred on the highway at speeds exceeding 100 km/h. There was absolutely no sense of safety or relaxation during the ride. Most passengers, myself included, were extremely stressed and unable to calm down. When we addressed the driver about his behavior during a break, he reacted defensively, appeared offended, and turned away from us instead of engaging in a constructive conversation.

Best company. I was 2mins late and they waited for me. The lady at the pier was very nice and helpful, she helped me not to miss the boat. The minibus is comfortable. The driver was nice, polite, and very skilled. The fastest ride I had between Phangan and Phuket. I even arrived in advance. Thank you so much!

3 hours delay, bus stopped in the middle of random high speed road in Phuket where taxi drivers waited and we had to pay another 200tbh/ person to drive us to our hotel. The taxi driver was very confused so we spend another 1,5 hours in the van.

Is Phuket safe for LGBT?

Phuket is generally considered safe for LGBT travelers. Thailand is known for its tolerant and welcoming attitude toward the LGBT community, and Phuket, being a popular tourist destination, reflects this. LGBT-friendly venues, such as bars and clubs, are concentrated in areas like Patong Beach, particularly along Bangla Road. Public displays of affection, regardless of orientation, should be modest, as Thai culture values discretion.

While Phuket is LGBT-friendly, it is wise to remain aware of your surroundings, as one should anywhere. Local laws do not discriminate based on sexual orientation, offering additional security. Always respect local customs and traditions to ensure a positive experience.

How do you commute around Phuket?

Public transportation in Phuket is limited, but there are several options for getting around the island. Tuk-tuks and taxis are widely available, with tuk-tuk fares starting around 200 THB ($6) for short distances. Always negotiate the fare beforehand.

Motorbike rentals are popular, costing approximately 200-300 THB ($6-$9) per day. Ensure you have a valid license and wear a helmet for safety. Car rentals are another option, typically costing 800-1,200 THB ($24-$36) per day.

Local buses, known as songthaews, connect major beaches and Phuket Town, costing 30-50 THB ($1-$2) per trip. While cheaper, they may not run on fixed schedules. Ride-sharing apps like Grab offer convenient alternatives, with fares similar to taxis.

For island tours, consider hiring a private driver or joining organized tours for convenience.

Is Phuket fun at night?

Phuket offers a lively nightlife with various options to suit different tastes. Bangla Road in Patong is a popular spot, featuring bars, clubs, and live music venues. For a more relaxed evening, consider a beachside restaurant on Kata or Karon Beach. Cultural shows, such as the Phuket FantaSea, provide entertainment for families. Night markets like the Phuket Weekend Market offer local food and shopping experiences. For those interested in a quieter setting, beach clubs and rooftop bars provide a more laid-back atmosphere.
