The drop-off bus station suggested on 12go website was not the one we were dropped off at. We tried to inquire with the staff on site once our journey suddenly ended at the wrong bus station, but no one could/would help us, unfortunately nobody spoke English. So we tried calling 12go customer service, which was poor and unhelpful, no alternative was provided and after 3/4 calls we were left on our own at the wrong station at 6pm in the evening, 10km away from where we had booked our stay for the night. Not a pleasant experience after a 6-hour trip on buses and ferry. Now we've learned that there are 2 bus stations in Surat Thani, a main Terminal one for large buses, and Bus Station interchange 2 for minivans. Our booking clearly said Surat Thani Bus Terminal, but our mini van then dropped us at Bus Station interchange 2, as small vans don't stop at the main terminal. Please provide clearer information for future customers!

Comfortable minivan, picked us up on time and was driven quickly but carefully by a courteous driver. Had a 25 minute toilet stop and arrived at Surat Thani earlier than expected.
