Driver was on his phone and we booked a speedboat, arrival was set to be 5 pm. However, once we arrived at the pier, we had to wait for 3 hours and had to take a different boat. Arrival was 6 pm. I am not sure, why we had to leave so early in Koh lanta and than wait 3 hours at the pier. And most of all, why was this not properly communicated with us. The driver is a safety issue. You should give him training and a safety compliance instruction.

They picked us up at 06:50 am from Koh Lanta which was entirely unnecessary as when we arrived at the ferry port at 12:00 we had a 3 hour wait for the boat. The boat takes approximately 4 hours to get to Koh Tao, meaning the journey we booked which was meant to be 08:00-17:00 was actually 06:50-19:15. Just be honest about the waiting / times and update the details of the trip so customers understand what it actually entails. For improvement I’d say to pick customers up even 1 hour later, so they don’t need to wake up so early and then sit waiting in a hot room for 3 hours.

No issues with the journey and it went smoothly. 7am - 1:30pm you are in a minibus which is fine as it stops a few times for the restroom / food. You then get to the port and have to wait 2 hours for the next boat which is a bit annoying. The boat stops at two islands before it gets to Ko Tao where you have to wait for passengers to get on and off which is also annoying as you’re on the boat for 3 hours. The last leg of the boat is particularly choppy so would take travel sickness tablets before!

The driver was punctual and friendly, and we even had a short break during the trip. We were dropped off at the pier and the tickets were arranged for us, which was helpful. However, the 2.5-hour wait there was quite annoying. According to 12GoAsia, we were supposed to arrive in Koh Tao around 5:00 PM, but in the end it was almost 7:30 PM because the ferry ride took much longer and was delayed by nearly two hours. It would be better to schedule the hotel pickup later so the waiting time isn’t so long.

Booking info says you will arrive at 5pm, but ferry ticket said it would arrive at5.45pm and in reality it arrived at 6.15pm. Also had to wait 2.5 hours at the ferry port as the van arrived unnecessarily early. Other than that it was efficient, nice driver, enough stops

The van trip from Saladin pier to Krabi was very uncomfortable due to there not being enough seating in the van, they definitely overbooked. My husband and I were squashed between the luggage at the back. Other than that everything went smoothly. Bus trip from Krabi to the pier was very comfortable, AC was good and bus drove well. Ferry ride also went smoothly and communication from operators was clear. The passengers however don’t know how to listen to instructions when exiting the ferry and it was a whole debacle. We arrived only 20 minutes after the stated arrival time so not too bad.
