The speed boat had motor issues where we started to doubt that they maintain the boat as needed. Very little space for passengers, if you are tall, then you will have issues to sit comfortably. Additionally, they stored luggages underneath the seats which gave you less space for your feet which was difficult for a 3h ride.

It arrived 2 hours late, and made 3 stops, we thought it was a direct boat to Koh lipe, we should have left at 1:30 and we left 30 minutes late, poor organisation, if it had been detailed that we’d be making stops and actually arrive at 6:00pm and not 4pm we could’ve told our hotel and what not, but it was advertised as much earlier

Overall good operator with some issues: 1. Pickup from Koh Lante hotel was on time. We arrived at the pier and were told exactly where to go for check in, and where to wait after. 2. Waiting for the boat (boarding) is on the pier platform which is un-shaded. Meaning you can wait for 10-20-30 min under the sun until you boarded the boat. So be prepared and put sunscreen, a hat or have an umbrella 🙂 3. Boarding itself was done with care, crew was polite and helped people by holding their hand one by one. 4. The speedboat itself was good, fast and the ride went well - thanks to the calm water I guess. However, each seat has room in THEORY for 4 people. In real life, 4 people is very crowded and uncomfortable. So if the ride is fully booked expect the seating to be a bit tight. 5. Stops on the way - when booking the ride with 12go, it wasn't mentioned that in high season there might be stops on more island. Only on the confirmation PDF it was noted, but only 2 islands and 30 min extra time. In reality we stopped at 4 ISLANDS on the way! I think it was either total of 45 or 60 min extra time. 6. Arrival at Koh Lipe was also organized and calm. Staff greated everything and helped off the boat one by one. Luggage was taken out of the boat and put on the beach for us, so it was easy to pick up. BTW, unrelated to this operator - when you reach the pier there might be drivers waiting for you with a sign of your hotel. Contact your hotel 24 hours BEFORE arrival to check if you should wait for one. If you arrived and unsure, ask a local pier staff to help and call your hotel and ask! Also, everyone MUST pay 200b entrance fee for the island so prepare your cash 😉

Boat departed a bit late and it was quite cramped, hard to put ypur bagpack down between your feet as the rows were very narrow.
