Easy to find the office. Bus turned up on time. Really clean with a clean usable toilet. Driver did not drive erratically or beep his horn constantly. All in all, a pleasant trip!

Next time I would choose a lower bunk, the top was too rough. A proper pillow would be better than the vinyl piece of padding. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable.

We traveled with your company from Hanoi to Sapa on December 2. I want to share important feedback about the toilet stops. There is no toilet on the bus, so the schedule of stops is extremely important for passengers. The first stop was after two hours - that was fine. However, the second stop was only three hours later, which was far too long, especially considering that the first stop was not only for the toilet but also for breakfast, coffee, etc. About two hours after the first stop, I already needed the toilet and asked the driver when the next stop would be. He said “in 30 minutes.” My husband asked again later - the driver said “15 more minutes.” In reality, we drove another 5–10 minutes on top of that. This was very uncomfortable and unsafe. I nearly fainted because I needed the toilet so urgently. For a 6-hour trip, it makes no sense to have one stop after 2 hours and the next one after 3 hours. The breaks should be planned more evenly to avoid such situations. Please review the stop schedule, passengers should not suffer because of poor planning.

Driver was incredibly rude and dirty. Stopped the bus early at one point to use the toilet. I went in right after him and he had urinated all over the seat selfishly and hadnt cleaned it up. Ride was good other than that but his attitude throughout the trip was disgusting

Train

Train is a often a great choice for long-haul travel especially if you opt for a night sleeper train with berths which will allow you to sleep all your journey through. To make the most of your train journey, choose the class of your ticket wisely.

Note that there are air-conditioned and fan-only carriages; private compartments for 2 or 4; hard and soft seats.
Though the upper class you get the smoother is your journey, often second class air-conditioned or fan-only sleepers are a good money saving alternative.

Van

Vans are a great alternative - or, in many cases - your only option - if you need to travel overland within one and the same province or neighbouring provinces or states. Vans ply the roads between Hanoi and Sapa, too.

Things to remember: When travelling by van with huge luggage buying a separate seat for your suitcase or backpack is a good idea. Do not expect there is a roomy luggage compartment in a van - there is actually none and your fellow passengers are unlikely to appreciate your luggage stuck under their feet, alas.
