Bangkok to Pattaya Destination Reviews

LC
I paid for direct tickets, station to station. However, the driver took a different route and stopped at many locations, wherever a passenger requested to get off. The bus had a very bad transmission as well.

It 's easy, booking bus tickets over 12Go. Easy going to Ekkamai bus station. I could change the voucher from "Roong Reuang Coach" very fast at both bus stations . Driving to Pattaya and back to Bangkok was faster than estimated. From Pattaya Northern Bus Terminal i walked in 55minutes to the " Sanctuary of Truth. Amazing place. :-) Because i arrived back earlier at the bus station Pattaya , i applied for an earlier bus. 2pm instead 4pm. I only paid 50.00 THB for changing. Very cool in both busses. Jacket is necessary. I highly recommend using 12Go and Roong Reuang Coach.

Driver was on time. And helpful with luggage. The ride was comfortable and we arrived at our destination in good time. I highly recommend Khamkhun Tour and Travel. This was our second time using this service. We will use them again for our travel needs.

Watch the luggage scam! They'll try make you pay an extra 20 BHT if you have a large bag, which is the case for most of the customers. The queuing process is terrible. There's no order!

Train

Train is a often a great choice for long-haul travel especially if you opt for a night sleeper train with berths which will allow you to sleep all your journey through. To make the most of your train journey, choose the class of your ticket wisely.

Note that there are air-conditioned and fan-only carriages; private compartments for 2 or 4; hard and soft seats.
Though the upper class you get the smoother is your journey, often second class air-conditioned or fan-only sleepers are a good money saving alternative.

Van

Things to remember: When travelling by van with huge luggage buying a separate seat for your suitcase or backpack is a good idea. Do not expect there is a roomy luggage compartment in a van - there is actually none and your fellow passengers are unlikely to appreciate your luggage stuck under their feet, alas.
