Ayutthaya to Nakhon Ratchasima Destination Reviews

SM
We travelled Ayutthaya - Pak Chong. The train number from our PDF ticket was shown on a digital departure board and the arrival announced in Thai and English. The train arrived on time. The assistants at Ayutthaya station made sure that everyone (especially tourists) stood on the right platform and at the right spot for their coach. Seats were clearly numbered. We had to leave our big backpacks next to the door, they didn't fit the overhead compartments. Seats were a bit tight but the AC worked very well and the ride was comfortable. We were glad to have a Maps app that showed us when we approached our station, otherwise we would have had no clue as nothing was announced in the train itself. But you could always als a local or the conductor. Can recommend Thai Railway 2nd class.
