Took the fast boat 20/30 min from koh Phangan to Koh Samui and it was very smooth. We left on time and arrived very fast. Its a bit more pricey than slow boat but defo worth the money.

An excellent trip but be sure to first go to Lomprayah 's office, about 500m from the harbour/quay, to get your stickers for you and your luggage. Our speedboat boarded at the same time as a large ferry, next to each other, so it was mildly confusing where to queue, but I showed my sticker (given by Lomprayah office) to a crew and was directed to the correct place.
