Lothaire AAlmost 2 hours late, shady van driver. The first part of the trip from Koh Lipe to Hat Yai went well, it was well organized. Once in Hat Yai, a bit before 2 pm, the 2 impressively rude ladies from the travel company taking us to Penang (after managing to get their attention, which is no easy task as you're invisible to them) told us to come back at 5pm. The van left at almost 6pm (4 hours wait). The driver of the van was weird to say the least, and extorted us 20 bahts at the border to "pay for the crossing fees" with no explanation as he barely spoke English (it's 5 bahts per passenger according to the signs, and should be included in the ticket in my opinion). I didn't appreciate his general behavior and some comments he made towards one of the travelers origins'.
