Viliu UThe driver was an hour late, which was already disappointing. However, the worst part was that we had booked and paid for a premium SUV, yet we were provided with an old, noisy vehicle instead. Despite having already paid extra for a premium car, we were charged an additional 1,000 baht for a brief 15-minute stop at a shop just a few kilometers off our main route.
In total, we ended up paying 3,500 baht for a transfer from DMK Bangkok Airport to Hua Hin. On the positive side, the driver was polite, though he spoke little to no English. While I am not usually a demanding person, this experience was frustrating and far below expectations.
For our return journey from Hua Hin to DMK, we chose a reputable company and booked directly with them. We paid only 2,000 baht and were provided with a new, clean, and fresh-smelling SUV—an experience that was much more in line with what we had initially expected.
