Nara Travel is a scam. We paid twice the amount (+300 Baht extra for one bag) for the same bus that Phantip Travel uses. When booking the ticket it looked like it was a better bus and that there was a meal included, we got neither. Better off booking with Phantip from the get go.

Basically, a great and easy way to travel. The bus leaves on time. After two hours, there's a breakfast break. Great location! Clean and tidy. When you arrive at the ferry, you get off the bus and stand there a bit perplexed. The display then shows you your ferry. If you booked online, you'll find the ferry counter and get your paper tickets. Then you walk onto the ferry. There's a large, air-conditioned room on the ferry with plenty of space.

Excellent chaperone on the bus, very helpful, helped with bags and making it clear where we were going etc. Plus staff at the bus station very friendly and efficient also. Got to the destination on time, and left on time.
