The bus was awful with seats that made your backside hurt within the first hour. The aircon wasn't working and I am still unsure if the bus had a toilet or not as nobody told us anything. Actually I haven't even seen drivers face as he never checked our tickets. I have another trip booked where it involves travelling long distance by bus, but actually considering of cancelling. The only great thing about the bus was, that it arrived an hour earlier than we were adviserd. At the ticket office the lady told us that the buss will arrive at 13:40 in time for the 14:00 ferry, however the buss arrived 13:15 and the ferry left at 13:40. Like I said, thankfully the buss arrived earlier, otherwise we would have missed our ferry.

It wasn’t ideal to have to pay an extra 200TBH for my suitcase being a bit bigger than 22 inches. That felt like a rip off as there was plenty of room on the bus for my suitcase as it goes under the bus. Not great at all!

The driver picked us up from our hotel in Ao nang, came even few minutes earlier, the we transfered to the Krabi town station, caught the ferry to Koh Samui on time and had a direct transfer to hotel on Chaweng beach. Overall punctual and comfortable experience.

The timetable was respected: the van left Krabi at 9am and the ferry arrived in Samui at 3.30pm, which was great ????
Our only worry was the driver from Krabi to Surathani, who was extremely tired and had difficulty driving...
