The driver who dropped us off at the stop (not the first driver, but the last one who dropped you off at the stop) was very rude; he yelled at you when you asked him anything, and on top of that, he threw our suitcase on the ground when he took it out. He didn't even drop us off at the right stop; we asked him if that was the stop, and he just yelled at us. The station staff (both in Da Nang and Hanoi) were very professional and friendly; it was only this last driver who dropped us off at the station who was rude. Excellent bus from Da Nang to Hanoi. The only thing I wish I had known is that there was a transfer on both ends. That was the difficult / frustrating part. I had to travel to the transfer pick up point whereas it would have been easier for me to get a grab to Da Nang bus station. Now I know this, I would only book the bus from the central bus station to the next central bus station in the future. The overnight bus itself was excellent. Great personal cabin. Lots of head height. Friendly drivers. Lots of rest stops. There were announcements (automated) in English which were the right volume and slow and clear. Very impressed! And I will certainly travel on overnight coaches again in Vietnam.
