Laut Buchung sollte der Bus um 11:30 in Nha Trang losfahren und 6h später in Ho-Chi-Minh-City ankommen. Auf Whatsapp wurden wir informiert dass der Bus um 11:00 losfahre und wir 30min früher kommen sollen und der bus zwischen 18:30 - 19:30 in CHMC ankomme. Der Bus fuhr um 11:30 los wir sind gegen 19:15 angekommen. Dazwischen mussten wir in einen kleineren bus umsteigen. Fahrt angenehm, snacks und wasser vorhanden.

Man kann nur jedem empfehlen, eine Reise im Hanoi -Saigon-Express zu machen. Unsere Wagons waren alt, aber sauber. Klimaanlage funktioniert. Wir waren am Tag unterwegs und haben daher keinen Schlafwagen gebucht. War ein ordentlicher Ledersitz. Bisschen schade war, daß die Fenster vermutlich durch die vorangegangene Nachtfahrt kondensiert und dann abgelaufen sind. Schwierig zu fotografieren. Teilweise kann man die Fenster im oberen Bereich öffnen. Ich habe den Zugbegleiter gefragt. Fenster auf und dann Video gedreht. Selbst im Inneren der Lok durfte ich fotografieren. Einfach auch Fahrgäste fragen, wenn man etwas möchte. Das Wort "Nein" kennen sie in Vietnam nicht. Verpflegung wird im Stundentakt an den Platz gebracht. Heißes Wasser kommt aus dem Kessel. Kleiner Tipp noch bei der Anfahrt auf Ho Chi Minh City. In Fahrtrichtung linke Seite gibt super Sicht über den Saigon-River auf die Stadt. Ich war auch ein/zwei Stunden im eher rustikalen Speisewagen. Nach zehn Minuten hatten wir eine coole internationale Truppe zusammen. Hat richtig Laune gemacht. Alles in allem klare Empfehlung.
We had paid for a VIP bus but I think that can mean different things depending on the tour company. The bus was dated and was without charging points, however, it was comfortable enough even if it was a little small, arrived in good time, had to transfer to another bus for the last half hour which isn’t very clear. Made plenty of stops for the toilet.
The flight with VietJet Air went really well. The staff at the airport was really helpful and the flight boarded on time. There were 30 minutes delay on the runway but this was due to bad weather at the destination airport and we were not allowed to take off.
HOWEVER, I need to express serius concerns about the 12GO webpage and their booking system. They issue so called booking confirmations/vouchers and not electronic tickets which will cause a lot of problems at the airport because their vouchers do not contain PNR number (six alphanumeric characters) which you need to do check in. So you have 2 options:
Option 1: send email to 12GO and ask them to send it to you (this will take a lot of time) or
Option 2: go to VietJet Air office before the flight and kindly ask them to search for you via passenger name (which I did) and then issue you a ticket.
If you don't do that and just arrive on airport, good luck to you.

The experience wasn't entirely good. The bus arrived more than two hours late. We were switched to a different bus an hour before reaching our destination.
