Perfect, no problem at all. The departure point is easy to find. There is a transfer to your hotel upon arrival in Chau Doc, and don’t forget that there is one for your return journey as well. You can ask your hotel to call the bus company so they can pick you up directly from your hotel.

Staff were helpful at both bus stops, and the first leg of the trip went smoothly. However, I expected a direct trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Chau Doc, as this is what I had purchased with 12go. Once we were on board the bus we were told we would have to transfer buses in Tan Chau. This was fine, and the wait for the shuttle from Tan Chau to Chau Doc was short. Unfortunately, the shuttle driver did not take us to the bus station in Chau Doc, and instead dropped us off at the side of the road outside of town, more than 5 kms away!

This was my first time on a sleeper bus and I was impressed. The seats are a little tight, but generally comfortable. Service was friendly and timely, we even arrived quite a bit earlier than expected.
