Everything went smoothly and without any problems. Takeoff was 10-15 minutes earlier than planned. I‘m quiet tall, so the legroom was really bad, but the flight itself was not more than 25-30 minutes, so no problem whatsoever.

The crew and ground support crew were great. Very friendly and helpful. The airplane was clean and well prepared for the flight. However, the amount legroom is much less than that of a US Carrier. Anyone taller than 6 feet should request a seat with extra legroom

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip into KL with our driver. He was very informative with information about his city and country to these newbies who were drilling him with questions the whole time!!! Would highly recommend this as a mode of transportation to anyone!!

Experience at Phuket airport was not the most fluent one. We had checked in in advance, and tried to print out the baggage tags by ourselves, but didn't succeed and needed to go in queue. There were too few check in officers, and even if we were at the airport in time, we needed to run to the gate., and there were still many people coming after us. The flight itself went well, and the staff on plane was ok, but we have seen better during our 3-month Asia trip (e.g. Vietjet and ThaiSmile).

The Kuala Lumpur airport is actually a mall that also happens to have some flights. Waiting in line to check our baggage, and then waiting in line to go through immigration, almost made us miss our flight. Had it not been for the flight/gate crew, holding the door open, until we arrived ten minutes prior to our flight, we would have missed it. The AirAsia baggage drop-off was a '0' experience. It took almost an hour, from the time we arrived at the airport, until we dropped our bags off. The KL airport was a '0' experience with inefficient operations at immigration. It took almost an hour to get through. The KL airport was a '0' experience, with over 0.5 mile walk from the airport entrance to our gate. The AirAsia gate/flight crew was a '5' experience, not allowing the plane to leave early while our group of nine, ranging in age from 5 - 85 made our way through the airport to catch our flight.
