Also nicht schlimm. Da die Fahrt früh losging habe ich am Busbahnhof etwas gegessen, davon rate ich ab.
Over 2 hours late on a journey that should’ve taken 2.5 hours, basically the journey took twice as long van was very uncomfortable but at least we had a break half way to stretch my legs.
Our Bundaya boat from the islands was late. Black Tiger not only agreed to pick us up from Nopparat Thara Pier, they waited for us, too. Excellent, cannot praise them enough 🙏
Driver stopped multiple times for seems like his own purposes, talking on his phone and then didn’t drop me back to my hotel, just left me in front of some random hotel, probably as I was the last passenger he couldn’t be bothered! I undertood this service to be a transfer
Why is there no precise information about where the bus waits at the terminal? I had to ask three different employees and received three different answers.
We booked a van pickup for 10:00 AM, but the driver arrived at 10:35 AM. After that, we spent around 1.5 hours driving around Ao Nang to pick up other passengers and parcels, even passing our hotel several times. We only left Ao Nang after 12:00 PM towards Khao Lak.
We understand that shared vans need to collect passengers, but it felt like customers with later pickup times were included in our ride. If the pickup was actually scheduled to be later, clear information in advance would have been very helpful. We were quite frustrated, as we would have used the waiting time differently.
Arrived at destination 2 hours later than advertised.
Was ok when we finally got going but there was a lot of hanging about waiting for more passengers. This made us 2 hours later than advertised.
