It’s not your fault, but the crew on the Lomprayah ferry completely smashed our suitcases when we collected them on arrival in Koh Tao.
The rest of the journey went very smoothly, particularly with the first driver who picked us up at Khao Sok
We had a strange trip. First with a bus to another pier. After that we had to walk quite far with the luggage to the boat. Had yo take it downstairs in the boat. It was very busy. We stopped on Ko Samui and after that on Ko Phan lang. They said that we would have a change of boat there, but that didn’t happen. In the end we arrived more than half an hour too late.
Our trip from Bangkok to khao Soc went exactly as it should. We arrived on time. Seats were ok and reclined quite a bit. The only down was that the sheet in front was a little too close. But still more comfy than an aeroplane.
Boat was hot and crowded and getting on and off took forever, which wouldn’t be problem if we didn’t have to switch boats halfway. Was also an hour and a half late.
They couldn’t find our booking, tried to convince me that we booked the wrong month (I didn’t), weren’t forthcoming with information or help. In the end the porter guy (who was amazing) resolved the issue and eased my mind in the meantime.
The boat was absolutely freezing
