I bought my ticket for 12:30 pm, then somebody contacted me to ask to arrive to the station at 12:50 saying that the reason for that was because the bus needed to pick other passenger at other point, which was not true. Even though I arrived at 12:20 at they gave me the ticket for 1:30 pm, they just decided to change my ticket for no reason, this was terrible!
Due to issues with taxis, I was late arriving to the bus station and missed my bus. Full moon bus arranged for me to be booked onto the next available bus and helped sort the issues with the taxis. I can’t recommend them enough!

Got us to our destination, but the driver can be a bit reckless. Clean/comfortable shuttle van. Able to pick up/drop off from hotel. Plus point, they make two stops along the way for restroom, so that was good. Something to also take note of, they told us 2:30pm pick up, but driver came at 1:45pm and was rushing us whilst we were waiting for our food at the hotel. Made it seem like it was our fault for not being timely.
Wir wurden über eine Verspätung von 15 Minuten frühzeitig per E-Mail informiert. Im Bus entschied der Busfahrer wo wir sitzen sollen und wies uns an zu dritt in der letzten Reihe zu sitzen, obwohl noch ein weiterer Sitz frei war. Auf die Frage warum wir uns nicht aufteilen können, damit mehr Platz sei, bekamen wir die Antwort, dass wir diesen Platz nicht gebucht haben (konnten wir während der Buchung allerdings nicht auswählen) und die Fahrgesellschaft dies per Kamera im Bus überprüfen würde.
The cabin was vintage styled and beds were comfortable. Only bad part was the wash basin in the bathroom was leaking. Otherwise the experience was good
Someone offered us the option to pay an extra $60 for a private cabin. I thought it would be a great idea to get a good night’s sleep, so I paid for it. What a mistake!!!
Yes, the cabin was very nice, but it was absolutely impossible to sleep, not even for 10 minutes. The train was creaking as if it were going to break apart, and it was shaking like an 8-degree Richter scale earthquake.
On the train to Sapa, even though we had a shared cabin, we slept very well. I don’t know why this trip was so awful. So, I do not recommend paying extra for a private cabin.
The train, the cabin, and the bathroom you could access was nice & clean. However, being a luxury train (and please note, I am comparing it to another train doing the same route), it was way too noisy (which I didn’t face in the other one). During the whole ride, the noise didn’t stop. The ear buds provided dont help. And you really can’t sleep.
The bus made me very nauseous — not really the bus’s fault but it did make the experience unpleasant. WiFi did not work despite the bus having signs saying there was wifi. Finally the bus operator gave me a hard time about switching seats with someone so she could sit next to her husband.
