Picked us up just before expected and arrived in Chiang khong on time. The driver dropped passengers off to the border crossing before dropping us off to our hotel in Chiang khong.
Pick up was a bit chaotic and we left earlier than the scheduled time, but that may have been because everybody was on the van already. The driver was watching videos on his phone the entire drive which felt very unsafe. The driver also tried to kick everyone out at the Laos border, although most people had booked a transfer to their hotel in Chiang Khong. Only after some discussion did he let us back on the van and drove everyone to the agreed drop off points.
Driver was perfectly on time and we arrived quicker than expected. I found the driver very safe and secure apart from him driving between 100 and 120km/hr through towns. We made excellent time but at times I was nervous of the speed he travelled through buit up areas. Other than that, no complaints.
