The bus to Koh Chang was on time and efficient. However, the bus itself was incredibly bumpy for the whole duration, even on flat motorways and a few of the seats were visibly very broken. Luckily this was only on the way there, as the return journey was much smoother.
The boat was the not the advertised catamaran but the normal ferry, which dropped us at the other end of the island and we had to take a taxi (included) for 50min to reach the other side of the island near bang bao pier. The lady at the koh chang pier had no explanation and no apologies for us regarding this.
Only the boat to and from kood and mak leave from bang bao pier. Don't get fooled. And just expect two slices of bread and two sausages as lunch.
The arrival point stated was wrong.
Bus + boat + taxi and the trip was longer. Not because of traffic as mentioned but because of crossing the whole island by taxi if you stay in the south
