Treffpunkt hat alles funktioniert. Nach ca 2 1/2h haben wir nochmal einen Stop gemacht und sind dann durchgefahren. Sitze waren ok gewesen und man konnte auch das Handy laden.
Auch mit der Fähre hat alles funktioniert.

Trip: Hua Hin to Koh Samui
(for context, I have lived in Thailand for 20+ years and currently live on Koh Samui, so ~ not my 1st rodeo)
2 big busses pulled up at Hua Hin clock tower, no instruction or direction of which bus to get on, probably 40 passengers going back and fourth between the 2 busses not knowing which one to get on. 🤷♂️
The guy looking at tickets and packing the bags kept saying "show me the number, show me the number". I kept pointing to the reservation number on my phone, he literally pushed me to the side,😤
After probably 10 or 15 minutes and multiple times trying to show him "the number", he grabbed someone else's phone and said show me the number and pointed to the 12go logo in the email header 😅 FML 🤦♂️.
Luckily I saw my name on the ticket in his hand and the little Thai know, I said, that's me, that's my name, which caused him to look and then allow me and my 12 year old son to board.
This was an over-night bus. The ticket I purchased said we would arrive 9:30am at at the Nathon pier.
We landed on the island at 11:00am and the Raja pier 🤦♂️
Total shit show. 🎯
Book w a different company. 💯
Pickup was over an hour late, chair did not recline, and worst of all ferry ticket wasn't booked with the ferry provider, so the ferry wasn't guaranteed.
This experience was so much better then anticipated, we were treated so much nice than any bus I have been on around the world. They provided food, blankets and the seats reclining so comfortably to sleep and woukd recommend for long travels - we did Hua Hin to Koh samui
Poor communication, from clock tower there is no sign for busses, people keep waiting for the right busses. People get splitted by destinations but it should be arranged a much better system. Busses were old. The aircondition is not possible to lower. It s 2026 and should be investing on new busses. Lights are too strong!
Aircondition makes so much noice if you are sitting all the way to the back. When we arrive to Surathani must change buss there is totally chaos there. Ppl get asked to just sit down and wait 1-2 hours to next buss.
There also they try to sell pick ups at island for 300 thb x person. Young inexperienced people do pay but this should not happen!
Here again people get sorted out by small vans. But very bad communication.
