De två viktigaste sakerna som gör det så attraktivt att resa med skåpbil är ett stort urval av destinationer och överkomliga priser. Alla skåpbilar erbjuder inte högsta komfort, tillräckligt benutrymme eller bagageutrymme, men dessa två punkter kompenserar. Dessutom är det alltid skåpbilar som lanserar nya rutter till nya destinationer som banar väg för stora bussoperatörer om det behövs eller som förblir det enda transportmedlet för att ta dig dit. Ofta erbjuder skåpbilar snabbare service än stora bussar, flexiblare tidtabeller och anpassar sig lättare till resenärernas behov när det gäller tidtabeller - om efterfrågan tillfälligt ökar på grund av långhelger eller nationella helgdagar, lägger skåpbilar till fler fordon i sin dagliga flotta lättare än andra operatörer. I motsats till tåg och större bussar erbjuder skåpbilar sällan ett val av biljettklass. Alla platser är likadana - standard, VIP eller vad som helst. Vad som däremot kan skilja sig åt är själva typen av skåpbil. Vissa skåpbilar har endast plats för 9-10 passagerare. För resenärerna innebär detta bredare säten, mer utrymme och en bekvämare resa. Vagnar med plats för upp till 15 passagerare är också okej, men var beredd att offra utrymme för dina ben och armbågar och mycket ofta - för ditt bagage också. Ibland kan det vara en bra idé att köpa två säten i stället för ett för att få en bekvämare resa - men det lönar sig att kontrollera med operatören om de tillåter detta på din rutt. - Skåpbilar kan vara det enda sättet att nå några av de mest avlägsna destinationerna, mindre städer eller byar som varken har förbindelser med stora bussar eller tåg.
- Skåpbilar kan också ta dig till vissa öar som är anslutna till fastlandet med stora bilfärjor som inte tar stora bussar utan även tar med sig skåpbilar ombord.
- Tack vare sin mindre storlek jämfört med stora bussar är skåpbilar mer lättmanövrerade på vägen. Det resulterar ibland i kortare restid, särskilt om din destination inte ligger långt bort.
- Även om skåpbilar har en officiell hållplats på vägen kan de också få dig att kliva av på en mer bekväm plats - du behöver inte gå till terminalen, fråga bara din förare. Observera att det inte alltid är möjligt, men i många fall samarbetar de. Det kan spara både tid och pengar som du annars skulle ha spenderat på att gå av terminalen till fots eller med taxi-
Nackdelar med att Resa Med Skåpbil
- Skåpbilar med fler passagerare kan kännas ganska trånga. Räkna med begränsat utrymme för dina ben och armbågar. Vissa skåpbilar begränsar bagaget för en biljett till ett stycke. Om du har fler väskor, resväskor eller ryggsäckar kan du bli ombedd att köpa en separat biljett för ditt bagage, vilket gör resan dubbelt så dyr.
- Alla skåpbilar kör inte enligt tidtabell. På vissa sträckor avgår skåpbilarna först när de är fulla. Kontrollera detta med din operatör innan du köper din biljett, annars kan det sluta med att du får vänta mycket längre än väntat tills skåpbilen är full.
- Om det finns fler hänsynslösa förare på något annat transportmedel än på skåpbilar känner vi inte till det. Vissa företag installerar hastighetskontrollenheter på sina fordon, men det är inte ovanligt att man hör denna enhet pipa under hela resan utan att föraren uppmärksammar den. Kom alltid ihåg att spänna fast säkerhetsbältet när du reser med skåpbil. Även om du ibland måste göra en undersökning för att ta reda på var ditt säkerhetsbälte finns.
- För dem som är benägna att drabbas av åksjuka finns det ett bra råd: ta din medicin en halvtimme före skåpbilsresan, särskilt om din rutt innehåller slingrande sträckor. Det är mer sannolikt att du blir rörelsesjuk när du åker skåpbil än när du åker buss.

Gabriela HThis was my second time traveling with this company. On my first trip, everything went smoothly, but unfortunately, this time I was quite disappointed.
They advertise Wi-Fi on the bus, but there was no Wi-Fi at all during the entire 7-hour journey. I was counting on having internet to work along the way, especially since I had Wi-Fi on my previous trip with them.
I also missed the water bottle they provide to travelers on my first trip, so I was expecting to receive one this time, but unfortunately, I didn't.
The biggest issue for me was the additional $10 fee for border assistance. My trip was from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh. The company collects your passport and the $10 fee while you're still on the bus, before you even reach the border. They don't give you the option to handle the visa/border process yourself, even though you are perfectly able to do it on your own.
I understand charging for an assistance service if a passenger chooses to use it, but in this case, the service is mandatory because they don't allow you to do the process independently. In my opinion, if I'm paying for a bus ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh, I shouldn't be forced to pay an additional $10 for a service I don't need or want to use.
Overall, I expected a similar experience to my first trip, but unfortunately, this time it wasn't as good.

They were then dropped off at various places along the route
He stopped the bus,left the engine running on two subsequent occasionsand got out without explaining it was a rest stop?
There was only one bottle of water on an eight hour journey given,no snacks provided despite it being advertised on the website.
When we arrived in Ho Chi Minh City he made no announcement that we had arrived at our destination,it only became obvious when he got off the bus and stareted to unload everyone’s luggage
This was on the side of a busy street with what appeared to no organisation
Certainly would not reccomend if this is the standard

Kelli RThe bus stopped very often to pick up and drop random people along the way. A 6 hour journey turned into a 7 1/2 hours because of this. Additionally the couple of times the driver stopped for “toilet” breaks we were not told how long the stop was for so it was very confusing. Several people asked the driver but he could not speak any English so we had no idea what was going on at each stop!

Peter PI traveled with Capitol from Sihanouk Province and had a very good experience. The bus was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The seats were spacious, and the air-conditioning worked well throughout the journey, making the trip relaxing.
The driver drove safely and responsibly, and the staff were polite and helpful from boarding until arrival. The departure was well organized, and the bus arrived on time, which I really appreciated.
Overall, the journey was smooth and comfortable, and I felt safe during the whole trip. Capitol is a reliable bus company with good service and reasonable pricing. I would definitely choose Capitol again for future trips and highly recommend it to other travelers in Cambodia.

Adam RIt was a sleeper bus. Cold air was coming from several vents, blowing directly onto my head and face, and it was almost impossible to close or adjust them. Because of this, it was very uncomfortable to sleep.
They provided a small blanket, but it was too small and did not help much against the cold.
The second issue was the toilet. It was very wet inside, and it was difficult to use it properly. At the same time, passengers were required to take off their shoes inside the bus, which made using the toilet barefoot very uncomfortable and unhygienic. The most serious issue, however, was the incorrect departure location shown on your website. The address indicated online was in a completely different part of the city from the actual departure point.
Fortunately, I checked the location one day in advance and managed to find the correct place on my own. Otherwise, even if I had arrived two hours early at the address shown on the website on the same day, I would have missed the bus entirely, as the real departure point is on the opposite side of the city.
This information must be corrected immediately to avoid passengers missing their trips.

Suppose to leave at 8.00 am, we left at 8.10am.
Suppose to arrive at 2pm, we arrives at 4.40 pm !
Driver drives properly, not too fast , not too dangerous, but he stops every 10mn to drop or take a package somewhere !
We did 4 stops for toilets, maybe 2 should have been enough for this trip.
This bus was confortable, with big chairs , you can lay down your legs and recline your seat.
A/C works properly.
Price was good for this véhicule /ride.

Aswell a phone number or email adress would help a lot to be able to contact the company in cases like this. 12go support didnt respond at all...
At least we could change the bus without extra fee to a later one after we finally were at the right location
