Alex JThe rudest staff I’ve encountered my entire time in Asia. No water provided on bus despite being told by the driver there would be. I was essentially made to feel like an inconvenience the entire trip. I’d recommend it in terms of ease however the overall experience was not pleasant.

Estelle DMy journey to Hanoi went very well. The trip lasted 22 hours and 30 minutes instead of the 24 hours initially announced. The bus was comfortable, equipped with power outlets, Wi-Fi upon arrival in Vietnam, and even onboard toilets, which was highly appreciated. We had a dinner stop around 9 p.m., so make sure to bring some cash if you plan to eat.
We reached the border around 6 a.m., and there was a bit of a line, so we waited approximately two hours and a half before being able to cross. There is another food stop at noon once you are in Vietnam, and if you don’t have any Vietnamese dong, you can ask the locals at the border to exchange kip for you.
Although the journey is long, it was overall very smooth and comfortable. You can easily sleep and get a full night’s rest during the trip.

Lucas CWrong seat and bus assignment, locals are privileged, bus staff no English speakers and rude. But we made it after 24 hours and 2 hours delay.

Inigo LArrived to the bus station 2 hours in advance thankfully. They said the bus was departing at 5pm instead of 6pm. There was a landslide in the way, we were stopped for 11 hours. The border crossing Laos-Vietnam is a mess, nobody speaks English and it was raining heavily, with no places to be safe from the rain. Drivers don't speak any English and they scream at you in their language.

Alex HStaff incredibly rude to foreign travellers, I would avoid if you are Western. 2 stars because it got us from A to B but would not use again.

Elvita JWent from Vientiane to Hanoi on Tuesday. I knew what to expect but I was not actually ready for it. The beds were okay; however, I was constantly sliding down it when we’re moving because it was fully horizontal. I was placed at the end of the bus, where there was the bathroom next to me, which was loud and stinky with no toilet paper. Also, the bed itself was really hot because there was something, don’t know what, under it. I had a USB and USB C ports but the C one was not working. Between 00:00 and 7, the AC was off, which is why I’m never taking a sleeper bus again. It was MAD hot, and I was sleeping while sitting. There was no air. On the other hand, the bumpiness wasn’t bothersome and we stopped twice to eat for 30min. We were also 5h late because of a road block.

John SI was charged $7 insurance fee that I did not want. I feel the process was deceptive and not clear regarding extra charges because I definitely did want it.
Unless the charge is refunded to me I will not use your service again and will advise other travellers to do the same. I am on extensive travels and am a social influence r

Finley CYou get what you pay for. My girlfriend and I decided to take the overnight bus from Vientiane to Hanoi. We left on a Tuesday so we did have a bathroom (that was nice). With this sort of thing just be prepared to be uncomfortable. It’s not the capsule type bed so you are in front of everyone….. and sometimes you can’t even get out of your bed because there are people on the FLOOR.
with all this said, I was able to get some sleep. I’m 6 foot 2 so I wasn’t able to fully stretch out but if you get the position right it can be semi manageable. Now that I’m Vietnam I’ve taken a couple of capsule buses and I definitely recommend (more privacy/amenities). I would take this bus again though if I was doing the same route because it was cheap and we got to Hanoi 1 hour earlier than expected. The VIP buses were tempting though for 10-$20 extra.

Nick MLack of clear communication skills from staff members
Refused toilet requests on multiple occassions
Not a welcoming environment for tourists as staff were quick to scream and shout at us for no apparent reason
