Second-class carriages are crowded and the seats are uncomfortable. I don't recommend, especially if you are older with the usual aches and pains.

Booking our train to tickets was easy , the reason that I gave an average star rating was the printed time on our ticket was later than the official departure time and we only just made it to our train from Marrakech to Fes. Ticket departure time said 9.50 a.m ,but the actual official departure time is 9.35 a.m, this is probably something that needs to be looked at for future travellers.

We paid for first class. Two passengers with many large suitcases who were not ticketed in our cabin were allowed to sit in seats for most of the journey, meaning it was unnecessarily crowded. There were bags on the floor and table and when the ticketed passengers for the seats arrived even more luggage piled up when they unticketed cheats had to be asked more than once to give up the seats. The train agents were aware and did nothing.

Bought 2 tickets first class, was sold two tickets in different cars, was asked to move several times despite having the right seat… Better off buying directly.
