We had a comfortable journey from Ninh Binh to Hue overnight in a 4 bunk cabin. There were snacks , fruits and water on our table . A breakfast cart came around in the morning. The beds and pill weee cleaned. The absolute highlight was that whilst waiting for our train to arrive many children visit the station to practice their English . They were delightful and surprisingly good at conversing with all the practice they are getting.

My experience regarding value for money (€90 per person) was not positive. The train driver frequently braked abruptly, and the toilets were out of order. If there are four of you, you can have a cabin to yourselves; if there are fewer, other passengers will share the cabin.

Afsterven booking and paying I was told I t takes 2 hours to confirm the trip. After mailing 3 times in the end all went right. But, better to inform your customer right at his questions instead of sending a general answer.

The train trip from Ninh Binh to Hue was perfectly acceptable and went smoothly. Boarding and transit were efficient without any major issues, and the general cabin conditions were completely fine. The only downside is that the sleeper beds are exceptionally hard. If you are used to a softer mattress, you may find it difficult to get comfortable. Overall, it is a reliable and decent transit option to get to Hue, just be prepared for very firm bedding.

The trip was overall okay, but our sleeping room was very dirty and the employees were always waking us up during sleep. They began to open our door at 5 a.m. and continued until our arrival so we couldn't sleep at all.
