A Thai boutique airline is all set to start flying a new route linking the north and northeast parts of the country next week. Kan Air is scheduled to commence flying to the eastern Thai city of Nakhon Ratchasima from its hub facility at Chiang Mai Airport on 2 February.

A Kan Air spokesperson says ATR72-500 aircraft with a 66-seat configuration will be employed to service the route. The spokesperson added that flights will operate four days a week in each direction.

Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flights are scheduled to depart from Chiang Mai at 17:20 and touch down in Nakhon Ratchasima at 19:10. The return flight leaves at 19:30 and lands back in Chiang Mai at 21:20.
