Emergency Measures in Pattaya Fun City

Attention travellers stranded or staying in PattayaChonburi administration has issued a special announcement aimed at combatting the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 across the province.

Chonburi administration has imposed temporary closure of venues and activity restrictions with immediate effect until further notice. Venues and businesses affected include:

Shopping malls, department stores, restaurants and beverage shops, street food and beverage stalls are ordered to close.

Banks and finance counters, ATMs, mobile phone and communication service centres, supermarket zones, pharmacies or zones selling necessary items and food shops are allowed to continue operation.

Restaurants and beverage shops serving food to hotel guests are allowed to continue as usual provided they comply with the quarantine requirements.

Takeaway services are allowed to continue operation.

7/Eleven convenience stores and other round the clock stores should close from 10 pm till 5 am daily.

Sales of alcoholic beverages are not allowed between 6 pm and 6 am daily.

All beaches will remain closed from 8 pm till 6 am daily.

All entertainment venues, attractions, health spas, massage shops, cinemas, boxing stadiums, fitness centres, public parks, water parks, golf courses, private nurseries will be closed temporarily.

Also prohibited is travel to Koh Si Chang (from Si Racha).

No gatherings in public places like hotel, resorts, homestays etc and gatherings of more than 100 people are allowed.

It is sad to see the ever-bustling city so quiet as it is at the moment but we all can contribute to its soonest revival. Please obey the new rules to get back to the normal order asap. And stay safe!
