Ronnakit Aegasing, the deputy mayor of Pattaya, chaired the meeting at City Hall. Local police officers, festival organisers and other interested parties mapped a plan of action for what looks like being a highlight on the forthcoming festive season’s calendar.
Wonderfruit’s organisers confirmed recently that the likes of De La Soul, the Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band, T-Bone and Little Dragon are among artistes who have promised to strut their stuff for audiences. The organisers say the attractions of the festival are not just limited to music.
They say the festival programme boasts an eclectic range of options that include fun runs, mountain-biking, educational workshops and wine tasting. As December is in the middle of the cool season, Wonderfruit is also providing festivalgoers with the opportunity of camping on site.
People opting to camp have three different choices. The basic option just provides a pitch and access to washroom facilities and requires campers to bring their own tents. The next option comes with a tent supplied while the deluxe selection provides private toilets and air-conditioning. Festival tickets are available on Wonderfruit’s website or from Thai Ticket Major.
