She continued by saying the two airports’ domestic Blue Ribbon Club Lounges and Boutique Lounges had been revamped to better utilise available space. The director added that the lounges had also been repainted in warmer hues of the airline’s signature blue.
Ms Sitakalin finished off with the statement that all passengers flying with Bangkok Airways could now enjoy a selection of hot and cold beverages and tasty snacks in the lounges. The airline reports that the lounges at Suvarnabhumi can cater to 285 passengers at a time and at Chiang Mai the capacity is 140 passengers.
Bangkok Airways passenger lounges at the two airports are open between 04:30 and 22:00 every day. Bangkok Airways is a self-styled boutique airline and operates on domestic routes that cover locations such as the southern islands of Koh Samui and Phuket as well as to international destinations including Phnom Penh and Yangon.
