Hints for Solo Travellers in Asia – Best Destinations

Travelling alone and are unsure which destinations are the best ones for solo travellers? Thanks to the recent US NEws chart we know where to direct you!

While the top-30 list is heavily dominated by the North American destinations – from Seatle to San Fransicso – several destinations in Asia have also been mentioned.

Friendly locals and overall safety of travel let Vietnam climb to the 17th line of the chart. The country boasts mouth-watering cuisine and has a wealth of attractions – from century-old temples and pagodas to decent museums. Transportation is also not a problem.

One of the best destinations for a solo traveller in Asia, Vietnam is followed by Thailand where even the busiest cities of Bangkok adn Chiang Mai are solo traveller-friendly. Moving around the country is a whisk with a choice of low-cost airlines, comfortable trains and buses and ferries connecting even the tiniest islands.

While Sri Lanka which occupies the 28th line, makes travellers face certain challenges – from high entrance ticket price for attractions to not so efficient transportation, it is still quite safe for travelling solo and definitely a one-of-a -kind place for nature lovers.

Singapore is coming the last but one but definitely not least. The creme de la creme of a modern metropolis, Singapore offers endless shopping opportunities, unique authentique neighbourhoods and contemporary man-made wonders you do not need any company to explore and enjoy.
