U-Tapao Is Now Connected with Chon Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat

 On May, 3, three new routes were opened inking the U-Tapao International Airport with Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trat and serviced by air-conditioned buses which will rub as shuttles.

These routes are part of a Transport Ministry campaign to connect the existing 34 airport in the country by the end of the year. At present 22 airport have transit systems. By the end of May similar services will appear at Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani and Trat airports.

The buses to perform the service are medium-sized carrying19 passengers. The first trip will take arriving passengers from U-Tapao to Trat covering the distance of 220 km in three hours and a quarter and passing through Chanthaburi. The second route, which is the shortest, goes to Rayong Bus Terminal covering 35 km in about half an hour. The third route, which is 100 km long and is expected to take one hour and a half, runs to Chon Buri bus station with stops in Si Racha district, Pattaya and Sattahip district on the way. All buses are equipped with GPS and automatic brakes. Four buses on each route will run every day.
